I had fun doing this assignment and found it difficult to decide which 2 I wanted to post, but I decided on these (quite a few more on posted on fotothing.com) The picture of the window is actually the local library and I appreciated the reflection of the tree in the window instead of having the ability to see in the window. The next picture was taken up near Bristol. I find this picture extremely interesting. Even though it's a broken down side of a building, if you look close, the way the wall crumbled, it gives a clear view of atleast 3 different building materials. I have to say I have posted others on fotothing that show black and white images, buildings with contrasting colors or items I simply find different.
Julie, very interesting photos, the building showing its "history" by all the various layers it's been thru. The reflection photo was neat and well cropped, etc.
ReplyDeleteGood Julie,
ReplyDeleteDo try "pumping up" the contrast and saturation in Picasa... but not so far as to blow out and tones....
Jerry, what suggestions do you have on contrast and saturation? I wasn't sure how much we could play around with the photo in Picasa on this shoot so I will try some options on these photos and see what I come up with. Thank you for the tips
